Methanol new energy generator set

Principle of operation

Methanol (CH₃OH) – is an organic compound with a simple structure. It is a colorless, easily evaporating liquid with an irritating odor under normal temperature and pressure conditions.

Detailed description of the electricity generation process (Methanol engine + generator).

Methanol is mixed with air in the engine`s combustion chamber and ignites. The combustion produces gases with high temperature and pressure, which move the piston in a reciprocating motion within the cylinder.

This mechanical energy is converted into rotational motion using a crank-slider mechanism. The generator rotor, connected to the engine`s crankshaft, rotates within a magnetic field, generating electrical energy according to the principle of electromagnetic induction.

Advantages of methanol generator

1. Environmental safety

· Significant reduction in pollutant emissions, potential for a low or even negative carbon footprint.

· A 94% reduction in HC and nitrogen oxide emissions.

· An 86% reduction in particulate matter (PM) emissions.

A 90% reduction in carbon monoxide (CO) emissions.

2. Economic efficiency and reduced operating costs

Stable fuel prices and reduced electricity generation costs. The cost of electricity genenrated with methanol is lower than that generated with diesel by 0.35 yuan per kW.

3. Energy security

· Diversified production methods, strategic reserves and prompt response to emergencies.

· Domestic methanol production exceeds 70 million tons annually, accounting for 60% of global production.

· Fully developed technology systems and independent intellectual property rights.

· A complete transition to alternative energy sources and the replacement of hydrocarbon fuels (coal, oil, gas) would require 3 billion tons of green fuel per year and 10 000 GW of installed wind and solar generation capacity.

4. Flexebilty and scalability

A wide range of power capacities, multienergy compatability and a significant market potential for replacing diesel generators with methanol-based generators.
